I used this book as a supplemental book to my required text book for anatomy, and it was great. The pictures are awesome and helpful when I needed a little more clarification, it will now live on my bookshelf forever.

I have been using the first edition Clemente's atlas that I purchased in medical school in 1976. The larger illustrations and the addition of radiological images have greatly improved the clarity and ease of understanding that was the reason I kept Clemente on my desk for 36 years. It is now even better.

As an artist and medical illustrator, these illustrations are the best ever done. The tradition in medical illustration is simply to copy those that drew before. This work makes Grey's Anatomy look like what it is, a grey, dim copy of old illustrations. These are alive.As a health care professional, this is the book that helps me think through the injuries of patients. This is the one that medical students wait in line for because they have to sign onto a list to get it.

This is an excellent detailed pictoral of the human anatomy, like a textbook really, but with captions and descriptions that can be easily comprehended by a non-medical person. The quality of the volume is well worth the cost: the graphic images are clear and true, almost photographic; the print is refined and easy to read; the pages themselves are substantial, not flimsy at all. excellent condition and an excellent reference book

This book was part of my Massage Therapy School curriculum and I feel I wouldn't have nailed down human anatomy as well without it! It's a FANTASTIC book with gorgeous pictures and very in depth information. I still reference this book quite often. I would suggest it for anyone who needs a better grasp on anatomy or anyone interested in what is inside your body!Great book, highly recommend.

Don't buy the Kindle version. Too hard to use the index, , mark your place. I'd much rather have the book.

I love this atlas! It is more like a textbook with descriptions of several of the plates. Great charts to condense the information to help keep resources on the fewer side while studying!
