This version of the FAR/AIM is ridiculously thick (easily twice the size of the regular FAR/AIM) resolution is awful- cheap, dull paper and text is not crisp, making it hard to read. No colored ink anywhere. AIM section is even worse because of graphics in that section. If you are a pilot, get the right one, not this one!

Standard book for pilots. There are a number of places where little squares replace symbols in formulae. This generally means that a font got lost in translation. I wrote the publisher to see if an errata was planned and got no response. Still, you gotta have one of these if you fly.

This version is almost double the thickness of the ASA far/aim as it contains the part 23, 25, 27, 31, 33 (parts and aircraft worthiness standards) and a few minor parts in other areas that are not in other brands. Probably good for an owner-operator or mechanic-operator, but I don't recommend it for student pilots that already need to pack a heavy book bag.It would be better if they broke the FARs into 3 volumes, maybe one just for aircraft worthiness and repair, one for students and private pilots with AIM, and one for commercial operators(parts 110 to 139).

This FAR/AIM is huge, containing much irrelevant material. It has 450 pages of aircraft certification standards. For example part 29 is included. What's part 29 you ask? Why, it's the certification standards for transport category rotorcraft. Not the most relevant section for most pilots. The size makes it difficult to hold and flip through. The paper is thick and low quality, and the ink is gray in places. There is no color printing in the AIM. Look elsewhere.

I ordered this to help study for the Remote Pilot certificate. Part 107 is not included in this issue nor is part 48 which deals with the subject also.It is a bulky book and print is quite small. Would look for something else

this is a great source of information about FAA rules and regulation. Having used a hard copy in the past as a study guide for the Private Pilots License exam , I find it difficult to use the electronic version. It is hard to skip to a referenced chapter and then go back to where you were.

As other state, print quality is poor, formulae are wrong, and vital information (Parts 107 and 48) is flat-out missing. Get the ASA version instead.

Plan on also purchasing a microscope to read the print.
