Loved this book! Though normally I read historical romance, I absolutely love this author's modern ones and I grabbed this one up. I fell instantly in love with Bran, wow what a hunk! Stephanie at times made me grit my teeth and whisper "what is wrong with you girl?? He just told you he loves you!" lol but she finally saw the light. The peripheral characters were quite believable, sometimes lovable, Finn especially, and sometimes like fingernails on a chalkboard, lol. I felt so sorry for Bran because of the way his father treated him, but Bran had such a good soul and such a forgiving heart. I loved the romance in this book, and how Bran depended on Stephanie as his personal assistant, and how much she cared for him, at times like a mother bear, lol. And wow the kisses, whew, hot as blazes without being smutty in the least. I wouldn't change a thing in this book - it kept me awake at night reading my kindle (despite my hubby's complaints, lol), just had to see what would happen next. Now I can't wait for Finn's story!

Very enjoyable and interesting story--a hero with physical disabilities who overcomes the limitations with determination and a measure of grace was a nice change. A couple of "wish list" items for the book: 1) More backstory. The level of hatred from Bran's father needed more reasons than Bran losing his sight as a child or being a more-successful business competitor. Maybe I missed something but didn't find a reason even after a second reading. 2) Different story driver. While I realize the premarital relationship was "required" to explain some of the story, I wish the author had used a different option – although it was in keeping with Carina's character, it didn't match Bran's character very well and neither did Bran's decision to marry a shallow, hateful woman in an attempt to get over Stephanie. That was completely puzzling and didn't make sense to me.

Found myself skipping pages on this one. It just seemed to drag on places. I liked the hero but Stephanie, his personal assistant who was secretly in love with him could be frustrating. She was always honest with her employer, not pulling any punches because he was blind, but put up with Carina's abuse and bid to marry the hero instead of taking her on like she did anyone else. I understand she was afraid he'd discover her secret and she couldn't afford to lose her job but for someone who seemed bent on keeping everything out in the open between them she didn't handle it well. And the Three Stooges - his friends - were just plain annoying. Enough said!

A romantic realistic walk into the world of a person with disabilities. A book on my Fav list that I am willing to read over and over and over again. Sigh

This was a well-written story of a video game and resort CEO, along with his three closest friends, all now billionaires. But they hold something else in common, going back to their friendship that started a camp for kids with disabilities. In an attempt to secure stock for a drug company that would help his friend Finn and his personal assistant's daughter Ellie, Branson has struck a deal to marry a woman he doesn't love and who can't see past his disability. He comes to realize, with a little help from his friends, that he's fallen in love with that personal assistant, Stephanie. And she with him.This was a fun read, with conflicts that are common among individuals with disabilities coming to light. I'm hoping that there's a sequel with Finn...

I’ve read quite a few Tamie Dearen’s books, this was the best thus far. A rich blind billionaire who doesn’t believe he can be loved for anything but his money and his assistant with a sick child who is secretly head over hills in love with her boss but doesn’t think there’s any chance for her. To her he is not just rich but a great catch. Bran doesn’t like to be dependent on anyone but to his chagrin he’s found himself dependent on Steph. Because he doen’t believe he deserves better, he decided to marry for convenience for business because after all that’s all he can get. Against all odds a Vegas trip ends up with these two married (despite his conniving fiancé’s attempts to trick him into a quick Vegas unplanned wedding) and they at the end find their happily ever after. Couldn’t put it down, I can’t wait for the next episode. Some reviewers say this is not a clean romance, it is. There’s no explicit sex scences in the book, yes reference is made of Brad indulging in what God meant for marriage in passing. The book shows life as it happens. The world needs Christ, it is fallen. This is a can’t put down book❤️❤️❤️
